Naples beat Fiorentina 2-1 on Saturday evening at Stadio Artemio Franchi, with the visitors taking the lead early before Napoli equalized and then went on to win in the second half.
The game was a closely contested affair throughout, but it was Naples who took the lead after just four minutes when Andrea Belotti scored from close range following a cross by Ciro Immobile.
Fiorentina responded well though and levelled things up shortly before half-time through a goal from Federico Chiesa.
However, Napoli came back stronger in the second half and were able to hold onto their lead until the final whistle.
Belotti played a key role in the victory for Napoli, scoring two goals and creating several chances for his teammates.
Immobile also had a big impact on the game, providing some crucial passes and scoring a late goal to seal the victory.
For Fiorentina, they will be disappointed with the defeat as they looked like they could have taken something from the game. However, they will need to pick themselves up and look ahead to their next fixture against Sassuolo.
