RB Leipzig secured their place in the Bundesliga top four with a convincing 2-0 victory over VfL Wolfsburg on Saturday afternoon.
Nkunku, who scored twice for the hosts, was instrumental in RB Leipzig's dominant performance. The Belgian forward put his side ahead after just 15 minutes, converting a well-taken free-kick from Martin Demichelis.
In the second half, Olmo extended RB Leipzig's lead when he slotted home from close range following a corner kick.
VfL Wolfsburg had the better chances but failed to convert any of their efforts. The visitors' goalkeeper, Philipp Gruber, made several excellent saves to deny them the chance to equalize.
The result moved RB Leipzig up to third place in the table, while VfL Wolfsburg dropped down to fifth position.
Overall, it was another impressive display from RB Leipzig, who continue to be one of the most successful teams in Germany this season. With Nkunku continuing to perform at a high level, and Olmo impressing with his finishing skills, RB Leipzig will look to build on this win as they prepare for their next match against Hoffenheim on Tuesday night.
