RB Leipzig beat Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 with goals from Nkunku and Olmo in the Bundesliga match on Saturday.
Nkunku scored RB Leipzig's first goal after just ten minutes, as he slotted home a penalty after being fouled by the Frankfurt goalkeeper.
Olmo also netted his side's second goal in the second half, converting a corner kick that was saved by the Frankfurt keeper.
The match saw both teams struggle to find their feet early on, but RB Leipzig were able to hold on for the win despite the deficit.
In the other match, FC Augsburg defeated SV Werder Bremen 1-0 with goals from Schmid and Riedel.
Schmid opened the scoring for Augsburg in the 4th minute, before Riedel added the winner in the 65th minute. The match was a nail-biting finish as both sides struggled to get past each other.
Overall, RB Leipzig showed great resilience and determination in the face of adversity, while FC Augsburg proved to be a tough opponent despite their struggles at times. Both teams will look to improve in future matches.
